  About the book:
French billionaire Marcel Mercier loves women. And there's a string of broken hearts across two continents to prove it. He knows no woman can resist him for that long … in fact, he's counting on it. But Marcel's plan to seduce Dani backfires as sparks fly between the billionaire playboy and the passionate captain. Review: The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #1) by Rick Riordan

My rate:
Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school... again. And that's the least of his troubles. Lately, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. And worse, he's angered a few of them. Zeus' master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Now Percy and his friends have just ten days to find and return Zeus' stolen property and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the true thief: he must come to terms with the father who abandoned him; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and unravel a treachery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Review: The Wild Side - R.K. Lilley

 GR Rate: 4.07
Page: 125
Release:  May 20th 2014
Series: The Wild Side 1
My Rate:

Alasdair Masters is in a rut.  He just hit forty, has been nearly celibate for the past year, and his life has turned into a daily sequence of lonely patterns that revolve around avoiding human contact.
His tidy life is turned on its head when a hot young blonde at the gym that’s been pseudo-stalking him decides to rock his world.  A very young blonde.  Way, way too young for him.  The problem is, he can’t seem to tell her no, and she just keeps coming back for more.
It doesn’t help that he’s ninety percent sure she’s a criminal, and still, he can’t seem to turn her down.  What is a dull introvert to do when a chaotic cyclone that oozes sexuality comes twisting into his life?
At first, he thinks she’ll give him a heart attack, but after his twenty-year marriage ended a year ago, he’s been a little lost, and when she comes crashing into his life, he realizes that he’s never felt more alive.
Is a walk on the wild side just what he needs to get his on track or a disaster in the making?  Is it possible for someone that much younger to be just what he needs, or is she a fortune hunter, as everyone keeps telling him?  Is it his hormones telling him that the mysterious younger woman is the one, or could it be more?

The Wild Side is one of my savior books, it is very short and has a high goodreads rate. I don't even mention the introduction.

We love books and consequently, we are in love with authors half the time. Alasdair, narrator of the book in his 40s, hits gym like crazy, newly divorced and consider himself ancient. (common! he is like Adonis incarnate!) When one day, a beautiful and very young girl hits on him, he does not know what to do. He wants her (very much!) but age! She is very very young.

In the end, they go to the Alasdair'in house and things get really hot. But there is a problem, she does not share any of her personal life; she is like ghost. If she decides to go, no way to get a hold of her. She overwhelms him but she does not want anything. Alasdair is a rich man.

I loved  this book and because it is short, i am frustrated. It is a blessing and a curse, don't know i it! I cannot wait to read next novella!

In the book, there was one scene, old bitch of wife comes and tries to use Alasdair and our hot little minx without rising her voice or entering a fight, ruins her. I love that scene. It is very interesting, liberating book. Not your classic hot male seduces girl, but hot young girl ruins a man. It is a book worth to read. You will just want to get your hands in next novella.

Review: Endlessly || Kiersten White

Evie's paranormal past keeps coming back to haunt her. A new director at the International Paranormal Containment Agency wants to drag her back to headquarters. The Dark Faerie Queen is torturing humans in her poisonous realm. And supernatural creatures keep insisting that Evie is the only one who can save them from a mysterious, perilous fate.

The clock is ticking on the entire paranormal world. And its fate rests solely in Evie's hands.

So much for normal.

The Trilogy started with Paranormalcy and ended with Endlessly. I actually never thought that i would read Endlessly, because Supernaturally was a total disaster for me. I am sucker for PRN but this one really bored me to my bones. I was talking about second one here.

Until this month i did not know that Endlessly was the END, if i did, i would suck up and read last book long ago. So when DEX sent me the book i just a bit swooned, in a good way. Purple, purple everywhere! LOL.

I liked Endlessly, i was not expecting total slap-up. To be honest i liked that it is the end. It was a mild one though. Evie was always Evie; without plan, in trouble, in love, manipulated, found guilty...

In the novel paranormal creatures wants Evie to open a portal and send them to home but Evie had had enough being manipulated. She rejects them. But this is not her only problem. IPCA has a new director and she is after her.

I don't know if i will ever read a White novel again. [And i already added "Mind Games" to my to be read list. Now, here you see my other face.]

My favori character was Lend. I love his power, unique. He was, as always, useless. Reth on the other hand was a SOB. He was scheming, setting up something, just wanting to go home. I am kinda sad for them :(

So just the finish this series, you may read thebook. But do not ever, if you are not cherish YA, start.

Memoirs of a Geisha || Arthur Golden

In Memoirs of a Geisha, we enter a world where appearances are paramount; where a girl's virginity is auctioned to the highest bidder; where women are trained to beguile the most powerful men; and where love is scorned as illusion. It is a unique and triumphant work of fiction—at once romantic, erotic, suspenseful—and completely unforgettable.
